A kids birthday reward is not always a free outing. Build-A-Bear offers a birthday-month discount on one specific bear; Red Robin has a kids birthday discount with a purchase requirement. These sourced options explain the cost up front so you can choose a stop that fits your family.

Kids birthday offers with the conditions up front
| Program | Benefit | Required spending | Who and when |
|---|---|---|---|

Build-A-Bear: a birthday discount, not a free bear
An adult Bonus Club member can take the birthday child to a participating Workshop during the child's birthday month. Pay Your Age applies only to the Birthday Treat Bear, with a $1 minimum. The child must be present; outfits and accessories cost extra. This is an in-store offer and some Workshops inside other businesses are excluded. Call ahead about stock.
Red Robin: check the updated kids birthday reward
Add a child aged 17 or under to an adult Red Robin Royalty profile. The FAQ describes a $7 discount during the birthday month with a minimum accompanying $4.99 purchase. Dine in with the child present. The offer cannot be combined with other discounts. Check the reward in your account before ordering; the older description of a universally free kids meal is not the current offer.
Red Robin kids birthday offer FAQ
A realistic birthday budget for families
Start with one activity your child actually wants. Add the cost of siblings, adults, accessories, food and transport before comparing offers. A small discount on an outing you already planned can help. It is rarely worth an extra cross-town trip just to collect a perk.
Before signing up a child
Use the adult or parent account where the merchant provides one, and read the age rules. Do not change a child's age to qualify. Check whether the birthday must already be in the account before the month begins, and whether marketing messages are needed to receive the coupon. Requirements are specific to each program.
Free admission claims need a second look
Do not assume a theme park, trampoline park or museum has a nationwide free birthday ticket. Ask the exact location for its current offer, dates, reservation requirements and accompanying-ticket cost. A birthday button or a discount is not admission. Our city directory is a starting point for local planning, not proof of a free ticket.
Is Build-A-Bear free on a child's birthday?
No. Its Pay Your Age offer is a birthday-month discount for the Birthday Treat Bear, with a $1 minimum. An adult Bonus Club member and the birthday child must visit a participating Workshop.
Does Red Robin give kids a free birthday meal?
Its current FAQ describes a $7 discount with a minimum accompanying $4.99 purchase for enrolled children aged 17 or under. Check the actual reward in the adult member account before dining.
Do kids birthday offers work all month?
The Build-A-Bear and Red Robin offers described here apply during the birthday month. Other merchants may use different dates, so check each reward.
Can I claim a reward on the same day I sign up?
Do not assume so. Check the program's enrollment deadline and confirm that the reward is available in your account before making a purchase or trip.
Choose one good birthday stop and confirm the conditions before leaving. Browse the city guides for nearby ideas, then verify the exact location and offer.

Birthday offers change often. These listings are compiled from brands' own sign-up pages and other public sources, and describe what people have historically received. The business always has the final say: availability, terms, minimum purchase, and whether an offer is honored are set by the brand, and can differ by location or end without notice. Birthday Hunter is not the offer provider and is not affiliated with the brands listed. Check the brand's current terms before you go.
